Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Parker

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Parker.  I needed to rely on information from those who knew him.  There were many attributes given but what always came to the forefront was that he was a man of integrity, a kind and caring person.  Throughout my research of Eugene, a hidden sense of peace and comfort seemed to be conveyed. As this was a gift (commissioned by an anonymous group) to Mrs. Parker in memory of her husband, I had only photo images of Eugene and June for reference.  Their children told of the beautiful love their parents had for one another; and of course, portraying this love on canvas was my goal.
