Here's a quirky story: I'm an artist, doing art like things, you know, painting to create new works, dusting off an old collection of oil painting supplies. I've restarted the studio grind, I love the smell of brush cleaner in the morning. Needed to add some supplies, stopped at the local hardware store, picked up a set of artists brushes, $3.89, sold in a plastic pack so you can't touch them, got them home and opened, the brushes had been used, all the bristles glued together solid. Huh? I paid $4 (with tax) for garbage brushes, OK I believe I've found a bargain, (the secret to detail painting is the ability to lay down a hard line), I razor cut the ends to about **degree and now I have the sharpest line tools a painter could want. I' going back to buy up all the stock and put it in MY studio!
